In addition to these features, the positioner has variable, automatic start-up with four different initialization modes. In case of emergency while the plant is running, the sub (substitution) initialization mode allows the positioner to be started up without having to change the valve position. All parameters are saved in non-volatile EEPROM and the two-wire system has a small electrical load of 465 Ω. Adjustable tight-closing function and continuous zero monitoring complete the set of features that make this positioner a helpful assistant in industrial applications.
